Computer blue screen errors or blue screen of death (BSOD) can happen suddenly while you are working something important on the PC. And it can appear on the computer with many various error codes just like a STOP 0X0000007e error. Obviously, the computer screen will turn blue when the BSOD code 0X0000007e occurs, and the computer freezes and requires a rebooting. But as what I have ever said in my previous post, such sudden computer restart will make all your unsaved data go like a smoke and seriously cause some damages that cannot be repaired.
Sometimes, the code 0X0000007e blue screen error is just a temporary issue and can be fixed immediately after a system reboot. However, this is only for the first time to get the blue screen error. If you continuously get the BSOD code 0X0000007e, try the below solutions.
First of all, you should remove the Virus/Spyware – We all know that computer viruses are very dangerous because they are able to hijack other executables on your system and embed their code (application logic) inside other applications. This way, after getting on the computer secretly, they will collect & steal your personal information, attack & remove any files from the PC, reset your computer/browsers’ default settings, etc. When they remove a system required file and the computer cannot use it to perform some requests correctly, a blue screen error with code 0X0000007e or other messages will appear. Run your Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware to get rid of the virus or spyware you have on your computer right now. Besides, you should run it in the background all the time to check and remove any potential & existing threats.
Secondly, check and fix corrupt system files as some missing system files can also bring in a blue screen error. To do this, you can simply use the System File Checker (SFC) to help you.
* Go to Start button, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
*Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and select to Run as administrator.
*Type your password or click Continue if you are asked to enter the password.
*At the command prompt, type the following line, and then press ENTER to continue:
When the scan completes, restart your computer to see whether the blue screen error code 0X0000007e has been solved or not.
Thirdly, do remember to update all of your outdated drivers. We all know that, the outdated drivers on the computer will stop some programs or the computer from working properly because of unknown bugs. In this way, the third step that you should do is to check your computer and update all of the outdated drivers, especially the Windows update packs. However, most of the time a blue screen 0X0000007E error may occur on a Windows XP based computer with the Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 client where ConnectMultiplePorts Registry Entry has been configured without your permission. At this time, you should go to Registry Editor and disable ConnectMultiplePorts registry entry by yourself.
Most of the time, a great number of blue screen errors, including 0X0000007e, may be caused by malicious applications installing on the computer. If 0X0000007e occurs occasionally and you start Windows successfully in most cases, after scanning your system for malware, you should completely scan the whole PC with a trusted registry clean tool and fix all found errors inside. An error-free registry is the first thing you should make sure when trying to use the computer without frequent unexpected errors.
Well, a BSOD error code 0X0000007e can severely cause some unexpected errors even though it is claimed to happen on the purpose of avoiding further damages to the PC. If happens frequently on your PC, take the above to maintain your computer regularly and I think you can use the computer pleasant without such errors anymore.
