Even though you have typed in the password correctly, you may still come to the chance to get the following error message when trying to logging on your Windows 7 computer:

“The User Profile Service service failed to logon.
User profile cannot be loaded.”

And now, the only thing that you can do is to click on the “OK” button, which will return you back the signin icons. What is up and how can you deal with this Windows 7 computer easily?

Typically, a “User profile cannot be loaded” error message will happen when your user profile might be corrupted. So, the first step you should do is to repair it or create a new profile immediately. To do this, follow these steps to create a new user account. By the way, with the creation of the new account, a profile will be created at the same time.

*Click the Start button, Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety, and finally click on User Accounts to open it.
*Then click Manage another account. Sometimes, you will be asked to enter an administrator password or confirmation.
*Click Create a new account.
*Within the appearing window, type your desired name, click an account type, and then click Create Account.

Then, you will be able to log on your Windows 7 computer with the newly created account without getting a “User profile cannot be loaded” error message.

If the above steps do not help you, try restoring the Windows 7 computer back to a previous state in safe mode. In many cases, a simple restore job helps to get the computer back to a status before the “User profile cannot be loaded” error message or Windows 7 installation error happens. To run the System Restore in Windows 7, go to Start menu, type “restore” into the search box and hit Enter to go. Then, you’ll immediately see System Restore at the top of the start menu. Then, you can choose your desired system restore point within the list and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the restoration processes.

If none of the above solutions work, I can say that the problem existing in the Windows registry itself. That is because Windows registry acts as the database of all Windows-based operating systems to store all setting & information of the hardware, software and everything on the computer. Simply speaking, a simple new account creating process will also add some corresponding entries into the registry so as to let the system “remember” this change and allow you to log onto the computer properly. But when such a needed entry was mis-removed or goes corrupted, there is no doubt that you will get a “User profile cannot be loaded” error message when trying to logging the system even though you have entered the correct administrator password. After all the above steps, it is highly advised that you should download & run a registry clean tool to completely scan the whole PC & repair all such errors. Once the system has no problem in locating/reading the required entries, it will run correctly again without some unexpected & strange error messages.

In a word, even though Windows 7 is claimed to be one of the most advanced Windows operating systems, it can also generate some unexpected errors like “User profile cannot be loaded”. But from now on, there is no need to worry about it! You are able to detect and deal with all errors causing such Windows 7 problem within minutes on your own!
