Windows 7 startup error – How to get Windows 7 start up properly?

People who use Windows operating system systems to have likely met with kinds of error messages such as runtime errors, missing DLL files, system32 errors, corrupted registry entries, startup errors, freezes, blue screen of death … And the most common one that I receive recently is the annoying Windows 7 startup error. Several Windows 7 users contact me and tell that they are not able to start up the computer as usual but do not know what they should do.

Sometimes, the Windows 7 computer will not start up properly when the master boot record (MBR) has been corrupted. This is why sometimes you fail to start up the computer correctly even though you have tried to use the Startup Repair tool. If at this case, directly use the Windows installation disc that is appropriate for your version of Windows to help you properly start up the computer.

Then, make sure that the computer is totally virus clean. As what I have said before, virus infection is one main cause of the computer boot error. There are not able to run without your permission, but also eat up a large amount of system resources. Fourthly, optimize the files/ programs on the computer. When you first bought the computer, it always comes with some installed programs. During the usage of computer, you will inevitably install programs, PC games on the computer. These programs on the computer will take up hard disk space. So when involving to computer optimization, what you need to do first is to go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add /Remove Programs to uninstall the programs that you do not need. Besides, a cleanup of the TEMP files with the built-in Disk Cleanup utility is still needed. All of this will make the computer run faster and start up smoothly.

After the above steps, do remember to timely check and install all available driver updates for the computer. Simply speaking, drivers are those small programs that allow the computer operating system to smoothly talk to and give instructions to hardware devices and software installed on the PC. Ranging from the hardware devices such as a webcam, printer or graphic card to software like some games, downloads from the Internet, you all need some responding drivers to make them work correctly without problem. If there are outdated drivers existing on the PC, the Windows 7 computer will not call the required components properly and won’t boot up successfully.

Last but not least, troubleshoot and fix computer registry errors. The registry is a vitally important database that stores all configuration information for both hardware and software. This way, the computer, hardware and software can be launched correctly all the time. However, due to some reasons the registry can become corrupted and broken, causing the appearances of computer crashes and some other PC problems. Many times tough issues can be solved by editing some registry entries, but if you don’t know what you are doing, you will run into the risk of creating further damage, even completely computer crashes. This will be the quickest and safest way to fix the Windows 7 startup problem.
