Annoyingly, even though they have followed the recommended solutions trying to fix the error, same error message appears after the system reboot. So, how to you troubleshoot and fix it easily?

If the “Windows Error Recovery” screen appears again and again, you should easily adjust the BIOS from the SATA mode to IDE. Sometimes, disabling SATA from the BIOS also helps to fix the Stop Error 7b problem. To do this, perform the below steps: access the BIOS setup ->navigating the BIOS, and locate the option to disable SATA ->save the BIOS option, and restart your computer to see whether the screen has appeared or not.

If you fail after a setting within your BIOS, an extremely useful tip is to do a System Restore procedure. This is a small, but effective procedure that is really helpful because it brings your system back to a point in time that you want it to, preferably before the “Windows Error Recovery” error screen occurred. Here is what you need to do in order to use the System Restore application correctly.

* Go to the “All Programs” menu in the “Start” menu at the lower left hand corner of your screen
*From there on, go to “Accessories”
* Once in that menu, go to “System Tools”
* In that menu, click on “System Restore”
*Once in the application, there should be a list of things you can do, follow the instructions from there in order to get your System Restore procedure done correctly and efficiently.

Thirdly, if your computer is infected by spyware or viruses, it can also bring in a “Windows Error Recovery” screen or sometimes a computer Internet slow problem. Once some files are attacked or broken by threats, it will fail to recall needed files to update the system properly. If this is the case, do immediately scan your computer with the antivirus antispyware program without hesitation. In my opinion, it is best that you can let your antivirus programs always runs at system startups and in the background as this helps to block and remove PC threats at any time.

Sometimes, you still need to update the Windows when you are attempting to get rid of the “Windows Error Recovery” screen in starting up the PC as old Windows version such as windows 98 or 2000 will normally contain too many bugs to run the printer properly. So it’s better that you can update your windows to make it easier for Internet sharing facility. Besides, you still need to update your printer drivers to the latest ones as the outdated ones will stop it from functioning smoothly and properly.

Finally, regularly fix Windows registry. The “Windows Error Recovery” message would also be caused when there is something wrong in your registry. Registry is the place where stores all settings and options of your hardware and software in order to make them run smoothly all the time. Once something goes wrong, not only this computer startup problem but also other computer errors will happen. So it is also necessary that you scan and clean up your registry on a regular basic.

No matter in booting up an old or a new computer you get the Windows Error Recovery message, by following the above steps you will be able to easily troubleshoot it and solve this PC startup error easily. By the way, if you are able to keep on performing these steps in your daily life, I believe you can always enjoy an error-free computer.
